I am an Account Manager for ID. I love being the conductor of a project. I get to work with every practice area and be part of a team that creates some pretty rad marketing campaigns. It gives me a real sense of accomplishment to watch a campaign go from an idea to being fully executed. I was brought up to believe that we take on the characteristics of the people we surround ourselves with and luckily we have a pool of exceptionally smart folks here.
Tell us about yourself from a professional standpoint.
I am an account/project manager by profession. I have certifications in both project management and sales (Stanford SCPM and Acclivus Sales training), and I am a natural relationship builder. I think all of these experiences fit nicely together, and have prepared me for my role at ID.
What about modern marketing trips your trigger? What is important about it or interesting?
My background in sales is what makes modern marketing interesting. Having been on the other side of the fence (sales), I know the challenges that organizations face when trying to build and sustain a business. The work we do here at ID facilitates and supports that process. Our aim is to take away the “shot in the dark” approach to sales and create meaningful pipelines.
Name a book that you love, and tell us why you love it.
Middlesex by Jeffery Euginedes is an amazing story told by an amazing storyteller. It has intricate, believable, and rich story lines.
Pick a fictional universe to live in (i.e. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, the Disney universe, Star Wars, etc.) and explain why.
Downton Abbey, because I think I might have lived in that universe in a past life!
