Theo Romeo

Theo oversees ID’s Creative Department. His team, made up of people more talented and smarter than he, is on a crusade to make B2B creative more compelling and engaging. You can routinely find Theo standing in front of a whiteboard, arguing on behalf of storytelling and challenging the sacred cows of B2B content marketing. Once the culprits responsible for all the high-volume, low-performing content flooding everyone’s desktop and mobile devices are vanquished, you will find Theo quietly staring out onto the waters of the pacific northwest, calm, fulfilled. But in the meantime, when Theo’s not chasing windmills or trying to find less patronizing ways to tell his team how amazingly proud he is of them, you can find him making croissants for his wife and daughter, while listening to black metal and sipping a Sazerac. His personal motto: “Empathy is the shortest path to happiness.”

B2B is broken.

B2B is broken.

Do you ever find yourself listening to news about the most recent political embarrassment du jour and think to yourself: “that system is fundamentally broken. How did we get here?” Yeah, me neither. Everything is just peachy. Except when it isn’t. And when I’m not literally screaming at the radio while I’m in traffic, I’m […]

I was way late to the Game of Thrones bandwagon. […]

Thanks, Gamers, for Granting Pokémon Go Access to Your Gmail Apps

You know what most people crave? Distraction. So when Pokémon Go turned young professionals around the world into zombie-like drifters and trespassers, all us adults just laughed. “Ha ha. Kids nowadays with their augmented reality and 1990s nostalgia for inexplicable Japanese cartoons that promoted either never opening or always opening one’s eyes” (seriously, there was […]

5 ways to quadruple your content marketing ROI in less than a month

5 ways to quadruple your content marketing ROI in less than a month

For marketers that are synergizing and “revenuing” their demand pipes, the MarTech stack is a sales funnel of customer insights. Historically, when sales leaders optimize their channel strategy, they routinely approach their pain points in a pragmatic, agile way. But the days are numbered of simply blindfolding monkeys and having them throw darts at Gartner’s […]

Vegas or Bust: Intelligent Content Conference at the Edge of the Desert

They say the desert surrounding Las Vegas is riddled with holes. If that’s true, the M Resort—where 2016’s Intelligent Content Conference (ICC) was hosted—is likely sitting on top of some of the greatest minds the mafia’s ever produced. At any rate, it was an ideal setting to talk about automating and scaling your organization’s content […]
