Denver, CO (April 10, 2015) Intelligent Demand (ID), an agency partner who transforms the way companies grow revenue, today announced two of its clients—Kaiser Permanente Colorado (Kaiser Permanente) and SketchUp—were selected as finalists for the prestigious Marketo Revvie awards.
Together, ID and Kaiser Permanente, one of the nation’s leading health care providers and not-for-profit health plans, created the Boardwalk Brand Experience Event (BEE), a traveling booth with carnival games designed to function as a live lead generation campaign. The team also created a compact version (Small BEE) for a single salesperson to bring to smaller events.
Members of the Kaiser Permanente team brought The Boardwalk and/or Small BEE to 25+ lead generation events, and the results were impressive:
- More than 13,000 new sourced leads, with an average cost per lead of $18
- An average open rate of 22% for follow-up email campaigns after events

The multi-channel program touched more than 50,000 leads, and gave the Kaiser Permanente Sales Team better visibility into its pipeline during Open Enrollment season.
ID teamed up with SketchUp, a Boulder-based software company that makes 3D content creation tools, in 2013 to transition their existing Welcome Campaign to a new Marketo instance so the company could report on campaign performance and revenue impact in real-time. Then, ID integrated Marketo with ElasticPath (Sketchup’s eCommerce System) and optimized the Welcome Campaign for conversion.
The integrated revenue agency targeted a segment in SketchUp’s leads database and launched a new campaign—the September Promo. The integrations and optimizations paid off through increased open rates and click-through rates and accounted for 45x ROMI, making it the most successful promotional campaign in SketchUp history.
